Having just taken the store over recently, we have some goals for the near future. Here are some of them:
- Inventory? We’ve abandoned that idea as it would mean bringing books in would take longer, and we strive to get books out on the shelves as quickly as possible.
- New POS? That will happen before the end of 2025 and we will be able to keep track of store credits on it.
- Light renovations (new floor, new shelves, fresh paint) in the front of the store – done!
- Eliminating the gendered categories for easier browsing, and to help make sure everyone feels welcome here. Done!
- Bookstore cat – done! Come meet our sweet friend, Cracker.
- A basic website and Instagram – done!
